Websites for manufacturers
Manufacturing website design, from £10 + VAT per month
Your buyer is an engineer, and they want specifications
Industrial buyers do not want reassurance, they want numbers. Machine list, tolerances, materials, capacity and lead times — the things a procurement engineer shortlists on.
What your customers check first
They are drawing up a shortlist, not making an emotional decision
Your website will set out what you make, the volumes you handle and your realistic lead times, so buyers can qualify you without a phone call.
What can you actually make
A real capability list: processes, machine sizes, tolerances, materials and finishes. Vague statements about quality engineering solutions tell a buyer nothing and get you removed from the list.
Are you certified
ISO 9001, and any sector approvals — automotive, aerospace, rail. For a large proportion of industrial buyers this is a pass or fail gate before anything else is read.
What volumes and what lead time
Whether you take one-offs, prototypes or production runs, minimum order quantities and typical lead times. Buyers rule suppliers out on this faster than on price.
How do I get a quote
A request-for-quote route that accepts drawings — STEP, DXF, PDF — rather than a contact form with a small message box. Making an engineer describe a part in prose loses the enquiry.
Pages that pull their weight
One page per capability, because that is what gets searched
Industrial buyers search by process and by material, not by company type. Each capability needs a page carrying its own name.
Capabilities and machine list
The page a serious buyer reads first and the one most manufacturers do worst. Model numbers, bed sizes, axis counts, tolerances. Detail is the selling point here.
Materials and finishes
What you work in and what you can apply — anodising, powder coating, plating, heat treatment. Frequently the deciding factor when two suppliers are otherwise equal.
Quality and accreditation
Certification, inspection equipment, and whether you supply full inspection reports or certificates of conformity. Required by any buyer in a regulated supply chain.
Request a quote
File upload, quantities, material, tolerance and required date. The nearer this is to the information you need to quote, the fewer emails before a number can be given.
What it costs
From £10 + VAT per month
Design, build, hosting on top-tier servers, and the contact form wired end to end so an enquiry reaches your phone rather than a mailbox nobody checks. Search engine review and ongoing optimisation are available alongside.
We are in Herefordshire and work across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall and the wider West Midlands. Tell us what sort of work you want more of and we will say plainly what would bring it in.
Worth saying plainly
We are a West Midlands digital business, not a national web factory. That means you speak to the person building the site, the quote is fixed before anything starts, and if a website is not what your business needs right now we will tell you that instead of selling you one.
The examples on our websites page are design concepts rather than client sites — we are new and building our client base, and we would rather say so than dress up a portfolio.
