Data Recovery
Hard drive recovery and data recovery across the West Midlands
Failed drives, SSDs, USB sticks and memory cards. You get the likely outcome and the cost before any work starts — and if we do not believe your data is recoverable, we will say so rather than bill you to find out.
Free initial assessment
Know your odds before you pay anything
We look at the drive, work out what has actually gone wrong, and tell you what is recoverable and what it would cost. If we do not think we can get your data back, we will say so — and that costs you nothing.

What we recover
A failed drive is not always a lost drive
A failed drive is not always a lost drive. Hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks, memory cards, external drives — we work out what has actually gone wrong, because a corrupted file system is a very different job from physical damage, then tell you plainly what is recoverable and what is not. You get the likely outcome and the cost before we start, and if we do not believe we can get your data back we will say so rather than bill you to find out.

When people call us
Four situations we deal with most weeks
The drive has failed or will not mount
It spins up and nothing happens, or the computer no longer sees it at all. A corrupted file system is a very different job from physical damage, and the two need telling apart before anyone quotes you.
Files have been deleted or overwritten
Deleted files usually survive far longer than people expect. The single most useful thing you can do is stop using the drive — every further write reduces what can be recovered.
A USB stick or memory card has stopped reading
Cards and sticks fail differently from hard drives, and the cheap ones fail often. Photographs and job records are the usual casualties.
The business cannot work until it is back
If the office machine is also the accounts department, this is not a next-week problem. Say so when you get in touch and it goes to the front of the queue.
Whatever the cause, the order is the same: we assess the drive, tell you plainly what is recoverable and what is not, and quote you before starting. Backup advice comes afterwards, so you are not in the same position twice.
